We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time Psychologist to join our team to supervise and mentor our registered intern team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical counseling and mental health services. **This job can be remote!
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to a team of four high-performing registered interns, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical guidelines.
- Work closely with the Clinic Director to align supervision efforts with clinic goals, client care standards, and overall team development.
- Review and guide the diagnostic evaluations conducted by interns, offering feedback to refine their assessment skills.
- Support interns in developing and implementing effective, evidence-based treatment plans for their clients.
- Observe and provide constructive feedback on individual and group therapy sessions facilitated by interns, helping them enhance their therapeutic techniques.
- Oversee the maintenance of accurate and compliant medical records, ensuring interns document client progress to meet legal and ethical standards.
- Facilitate case consultations, offering clinical insights and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Ensure the interns effectively utilize telehealth platforms to deliver high-quality remote counseling services when needed.
- Promote professional growth by sharing resources, encouraging ongoing learning, and staying up-to-date with advancements in the field of psychology.
- Serve as a role model and resource for interns, fostering their confidence and competence as future licensed professionals.
- This position also offers the opportunity to see clients at a competitive hourly rate, if desired.
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Valid Florida state licensure to practice psychology.
- Experience in clinical counseling.
- Experience in a supervisory role.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices is preferred.
